BACKGROUND: This is a proposed amendment to shop-based services within Spin Dizzy. As it stands it doesn’t draw so much activity into the shop and I would like to turn the downstairs area into a bit of a cafe. I’m thinking a Berlin Kreuzberg juxtaposition of depravity and art. I’ve spoken with Ren (Red Herring), about having the RH supply Spin with some baked goods with the addition of crepes and smoothies in house, as there is no room or prims for a proper kitchen. This would key in also to the joint RH/SD delivery service (striporgrams, kissograms, gift-baskets) as originally set out in Spin's opening proposal. Upstairs will remain a private area complete with audition suite for Spin entertainers. Meetings regarding future parties, business requirements and so on will still take place here. This will enhance the original function of the space to cater to private and discrete meetings which may be booked by any DEer for any reason. A neutral space for faction leaders or representatives to meet, with catering and extras at an agreed price. I think there is a gap in the market for somewhere to sit and eat in Red Light District. Something simple enough for people who are just testing the water of the more sordid side of town and want an RP excuse to sit around till they feel comfortable. This will also give Spin employees more to do between events and help spread the word about what Spin does and can provide to people and businesses in town.
