<b>Slim Goodies Diner</b>

BACKGROUND: As the new manager, I will continue to run Slim Goodies first and foremost as the go-to spot for unhealthy comfort food such as greasy burgers, fries, and milkshakes. To add another dimension to diner RP, I may add food delivery as well, with waitresses delivering food in roller skates. I hope to have uniforms developed for the waiters/waitresses, so new employees will immediately feel like they are part of the diner family. Other ideas include having an employee of the month with accompanying poster so people who work a lot get recognized. Regular events can include things like hot dog eating contests (or other food eating contests), theme nights, and cheesy old-school dancing contests (like from the diner scene in Pulp Fiction). There is a jukebox so I would encourage patrons to play music and dance after their meal to work off some of the grease they consume. To promote the diner, I may have waiters/waitresses dress up in hamburger or hot dog costumes and give out coupons at street corners. As for management style, Madison tends to be lazy and doesn't really care all that much about anything. This will contribute to an "anything goes" feel at the diner. She won't give a shit if criminals or seedy types hang out at Slim Goodies and may not even report criminal activities that take place there so long as she is tipped well. Her motto will be "What happens in the diner stays in the diner." The only exception will be if someone attacks the diner staff or steals money from the diner.

UNIQUE: Madison is bad at managing money, so the diner will always be short on cash, and waiters/waitresses will be encouraged to hustle customers. If she gets desperate, she may even plan out some scams to steal from the customers, and might try to rope in her employees to take part in any schemes she comes up with. The menu will be constantly evolving and will always have some weird, experimental items like raw meat, fried twinkies or other strange offerings, as well as menu items named after people Madi knows IC. Madison will likely drink while on the job (she already drinks secretly while on the job) and will allow other waiters/waitresses to drink as well while working. In short, the diner will be a bit of a circus and an unpredictable environment where anything can happen.

EXPERIENCE:I've been working at the diner for 7 months as a waitress and have put in consistent hours, so I feel comfortable with continuing to RP there. Since I spend almost all my SL time in DE, I am familiar with the sim and believe I can answer most of the questions that newcomers may have. I also have some modest building experience so I may be able to work on things like diner uniforms on my own. Lastly, I have some experience with websites, so I will be able to create and manage a Slim Goodies website.

IDEAS:I will make an effort to be around more when new staff first join the diner so I can RP with them and make sure they feel comfortable. I will try to have occasional meetings where I ask employees for ideas and allow them to offer input on the menu and other aspects of the business.

OTHER:The grand re-opening will have free food and drinks which will include burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and a mini-bar. Since Slim Goodies provided catering for the Roughhouse opening, I will try to get the Roughhouse (or another nearby bar like 8s) to provide a mini bar for the event. I hope to have a twist contest (like in Pulp Fiction), a hot dog eating contest, and possibly a food fight. If allowed, I would also like to stream 50s and 60s music which will presumably be playing from the jukebox.
