Lulu's

BACKGROUND: Lulu's has been a main focal point of my roleplay in Dead End and its no secret how much I adore the place. There is such a good flow of people and wonderful variety of rp. Jennie was an amazing owner to work under and work with, it is a shame to see her go, but I am looking forward to, hopefully, stepping into her shoes. I feel that after working as manager for her for a while, I am aware of the needs and time required to be successful at Lulu's. I gave Jennie and Kyo the idea for the Phabulous Public Providers event and successfully hosted a Leather & Lace night as well as Paddler's Pleasure. I've also already spoken to Lucas and Tarra about Lulu's next big event (details to come later!). And yes, I am totally cool with working with Kyo! He and I have different schedules that occasionally cross, which allows us to keep Lulu's going at all hours! As a staple of Dead End, I feel Lulu's needs a committed lead that can make sure the bar stays inclusive to everyone no matter what faction or seniority on the sim. One of my goals is to try and make the bar more welcoming with a few more events (beer and a movie, wet tshirt contests, drinking contests, masquerades, and so much more!) and getting the staff out and about in the city promoting and giving samples! I'd like to make use of the central square to pair up with the businesses nearby and I want to keep my public service events going (think back to the Phabulous Public Providers event!). I'd also love to see some direct rp with the factions such as robberies or fights or what not. To me, it is a must that Lulu's remain neutral ground for everyone, but it deserves some good scenes and plots! The only changes I would really make to Lulu's is getting it more active again (see above!) and changing or offering different uniforms. The current shirts area bit dated (love you Kyo!) and I've run ideas by Jennie previously and have stuff ready to show Kyo. Lulu's is most definitely a kinky yet classy bar and deserves the best and the sexiest looking staff! Another idea I had was to have specialty drinks for events as well as encouraging the staff to create their own signature drink. Rp at a bar can get old and repetitive, but this would be a way for them to test things out and get creative. On a side note, I currently run Axe Pharmaceuticals and have several deals and story lines going on with it. I have moved the facility to 'outside the city' and would be willing to sacrifice the business to give Lulu's the attention it deserves. However, I feel my business could help Lulu's by bringing in people to discuss contracts, sell my stock, or even spike a few drinks!

EXPERIENCE: As a role player, I'm not afraid to insert myself into a scene or reach out to pull people in. I pay attention to details and posts, making sure everyone around gets some sort of response. Due to this, I rarely use NPCs to help out. I want to interact and get to know my customers and the others on sim rather than pushing them to an NPC.

IDEAS:I would love to conduct ic interviews with new staff as much as I can and (as I currently do) I always give new arrivals information about the sim and try to direct them icly towards a business or person that would benefit them, even if it isn't Lulu's.

OTHER:I am already planning an event for April that involves the police and fire department, so I would most likely play it up as much as possible to draw lots of attention to the bar!
