TYPE: Record Store/Drug Front

BACKSTORY: It's a place where people can come in, hang out and listen to some music. As well as a place that sells drugs. The store can be a place where aspiring DE musicians can start their career, or people can pick up new music...or they can ask for the fine collection of "reggae records" in the back, or even "Electronica albums". Sometimes small shows can be played there. It came about because my character is an independent drug dealer, I grow my own weed and mushrooms, and sell it around town. Now I fear that police will wonder how I keep a steady income, when all I do for work is perform out in the streets. And now that I have two people in my unofficial drug ring, I need to expand my operations. However, we are not a criminal faction,just independent dealers. It shouldn't cause drama and I will cooperate with police. I know it could cause trouble with criminal factions, but that will add just enough plot to make things interesting, if any of them pursue it. Inside, the store will have various record racks lining the wall, as well as indie looking posters. in the middle of the store will be a circle of bean bags near a record player where people can hang out. The counter will be near the front, and the upstairs (I think that location has an upstairs, if I remember correctly) will be another room with couches and table with some pot plants and a few bags of it, as well as a private selection of records, so when the police come around to see the "Reggae records" we can show them reggae records, instead of the pot.The downstairs will be brightly decorate, while the upstairs is darker.

UNIQUE: It'll be another place for people to hang out that doesn't revolve around sex, yet will still keep to the whole DE vibe by being a drug front. I think it would be a cool shop to have in DE, Since there's no record store and few establishments dedicated to music. It would also attract people who enjoy sims like "The Velvet".

EXP:I've played DE for three months. I have a few contacts around the city, too, and am somewhat well known as a musician, opening a record store is exactly what people would expect of him. Leadership wise, I have experience, both online and offline. Offline, I've done things ranging from leading boy Scouts, to leading a Campus atheist club. The Atheist club had some online leadership to it, becuase I had to organize with regional SSA leaders through a forum to coordinate real life events. Online I've moderated for a now default RP website. I constantly had to work with the admin to get things done.

IDEAS:IC, I'd have a musical talent show, and would actually sell any music someone submits to me. Either free or for pay, were all money paid would go to the artist. Drugs wise, I would increase drug use in DE, making drug dealing a more important role in DE. OOC I would do my best to identify newcomers, and try to make them feel welcomed to DE, encouraging them to come back, as well as offering more jobs to the community.

OTHER:Record store, User created music for DE, Drug front, jobs, welcoming atmosphere for new players, and a fun one for old players. New hang out, and great fun. It's Everything DE could want.
