BACKSTORY: Rumour has it that Dead End City was once the location for an infamous fight club. I was working as a reporter when I first heard the whispers. Some said that it was run by two violent Irish sisters but I never could find any evidence for it. The O'Keefe's upped sticks and moved out of Dead End a while ago and my sources tell me that since then there's been no fight club activity. I've decided to resurrect it. _____________ Oaf has a history of using violent means to get her way. As a partner in the wicked Knitting Club, that used to be located at the docks, she found she had a taste for violence as a means of gaining control of her life. The Knitting Club had the illusion of worthiness, it was started as a means to punish the abusers that stalk this shit-hole we live in. Oaf has no such illusions about Fight Club. It's an illegal income, there's big money in gambling. More than that though it's a vehicle for revenge and a lure. The rich and the powerful like big gambling and Oaf likes to have leverage over the rich and the powerful. There'll be permanent group places for Bookies, Prize Fighters and Patrons. Bookies will be fight organisers, setting up events for consenting fighters and running the book so that everyone earns out of it, except for the punters of course. Prize Fighters will be regular features, hard to beat, you can try your luck against them and maybe earn yourself some dollars before you take your trip to the hospital. Patrons are those rich types that like to keep their image squeaky clean and pay someone else to do their dirty work for them. They're given access to a mobile number where they can arrange for non-consenting fighters to be picked up and thrown into the ring. Usually they like naked cat fights, but some of them have been known to get rid of rivals by having them beaten to death in the ring. Oaf is hoping to get a job managing the tattoo parlour, that's going to be her legitimate income. The use of hallucinogens added to her inks will be one avenue for gathering the reluctant fighters. Bookies will also carry untraceable cell phones for taking specialist orders from patrons and potential fighters.

UNIQUE: Fight Club has no home, but rather uses convenient spaces dotted around Dead End - the parking garage, Crave, when it's empty, the docks. Everyone can come to Fight Club, all you need is an ear to the ground and you might get a whisper of the next big fight. Just about everyone can get involved, from dodgy cops and pretty victims to the meanest thug. You don't have to be a criminal to enjoy fight club, you just have to have a love of gambling or a taste for violence or maybe just become the target of someone who has the number of a Fight Club Bookie. Fight Club is designed for the big event, for inclusive RP and most importantly for shifting RP around the city.

EXP:Fight Club Deadend has already been a successful rp group in DE. I hope to have even greater success in this new incarnation.

IDEAS:The fights can be big or small events. There's nothing like a good free form fight for enforcing rp etiquette. It's very inclusive.

OTHER:It's violent, bloody and dark. What more could Dead End want?
