GROUP NAME: Easy Eights

TYPE: Billiards Cafe (Cover for Weapon Dealership)

BACKSTORY: The story is that Angel is tired of seeing the girls being raped and stabbed without any way to defend themselves. But ofcourse the sales wont only be to the girls.. Knowing that if she would start a Weapon shop, she will be restricted to what she will be allowed to sell, so she wants to do it under the counter from Easy Eights. She knows the place is looking for a manager, and applies for the job! From normal pocket knifes to the knifes that are being used in the army. Any kind of weapon that will be allowed from management she is willing to deal. Her cover is looking like an Old English Pub, well maintained, but dark and cosy in a way. Within the building there will be a place where she deals in her weapons, but she will not do this alone, she will have Zahos her partner at her side. And with the help of an investor, and a dirty cop, she feels she can get a long way. ((We already have contact with some of the community members, and found an investor and dirty cop already)) We will be trying to keep it small scale for now, until we are starting to make a business and then we would like to grow and expand.

UNIQUE: Well I hope we wont stand out, but blend in perfectly. But if we have to describe why we are different then others, as far as I know there is no weapon dealership in DE as of yet. In that way alone we will be unique.

EXP:I do not think I would call myself a good leader. I am on SL for almost 6 years, rez date March 23 2006. I have run one of the largest clubs back then on SL. Due to something RL we had to close the club down. Since then I have been on several RP sims, and what I feels comes with a strong Leader is a strong group of good members, that stand for the group, and form one team behind the setup.

IDEAS:Next to the events I stated in another post, now that we are talking about Easy Eights, I am planning on getting this place on the map, many members already RP'ed here, but since it was lacking management, it was/is mostly dead. Next to that I am planning to design the weapons myself, this way I will be able to hand them over for free ICly. In the pub I could have a DJ that plays music, or we could have events on the square promoted by the Pub. The pub will be friendly and open to newcomers, or the old roots in the community, OOC we would be able to explain the weapons, and how they would work, but for this, I am kinda relying on my team as well, since I know how to build, but I am not a historicus in weaponry

OTHER:Before coming up with this idea I have talked to a few people within the community, when I explained to them what my plans where, they all liked it. I know it will be tough to set up at first, but with the support of the community, and the rp opportunities behind this, I do think it will be a hit! After talking to Fae in IM, I would like to give the Easy Eights a try, why build something in the sim, while the name and opportunity is already there..
