BACKGROUND: J.B. has ended up staying at the motel due to unpleasant circumstances in his life. With too little money to spend on a nice place and too much to live on the street, a motel is a decent choice. At the mo ment he works at the inn as a Handyman, hoping to fix the place up so both he and the other tenants can live somewhat more comfortably - though he hasn't got enough say to make any significant changes apart from fixing the telly's when they break. J.B. wants to fix the place up to create a safer place for the sex-workers in the area and those with less money to go around. He wants to employees to feel like they're not just working jobs like being a maid to get by, he wants them to see it as a stepping stone in to something bigger. That's what he wants for himself. He has a sense of Southern hospitality that comes natural to him. While he has conservative values on many things, he knows he can't keep blaming people in shady lines of work because most often it's the only thing they can do. He wants to make the place a staple of safety and comfort, creating a decent living for those who've got it bad.

UNIQUE: The inn now is shady and unsafe. People dirty up the rooms with their sexual escapades and leave without a word. J.B. wants to make it better, simply put. The place is a go to area for the local red-light workers and their clients, the only thing he can improve is to make it safer for either party.

EXPERIENCE:I've been RP'ing for more than a decade at this point. I've been in leading positions both ICly and OOCly, working as New Members Admissions, Role Play Lead and Admin for various sims. ICly I've played as a Headmaster of a magical school (Hogwarts, yay!) faction leader and event organizer. I think I've got all it takes to keep RP fresh and most importantly keep it going!

IDEAS:J.B. hangs around the inn most of the time I am on sim. He's grown a personal connection to the place, appreciating the roof over his head and a cheap place to sleep. He'll talk to people on the street to see who and what they are, picking people up and sometimes even paying for their stay when they've got it rough. He wants to motivate the other workers to create a place where people can come to wind down and get their things together, taking up more caring qualities rather than distancing themselves from those who end up in a place like Dick's Halway Inn.

OTHER:He loves a drink of cowboy's poison. J.B. would likely invite the local people to come and share a drink with him and the other workers some warm night, grilling up some good food on a BBQ! Anything to make it feel more like a place for the community, rather than a last-resort.
