GROUP NAME: Dick's Halfway Inn

TYPE: Motel

BACKSTORY: After living on the streets, Jubi eventually wandered into the Red Light District looking for a place to stay for a while. Spotting the HELP WANTED sign at the motel, she figured that was her chance to get a place to stay and a job at the same time. She quickly applied and was hired, almost immediately befriending the boss, Oniedah. Over the course of a few months, she learned the outs and ins of working in a motel from Oni, ranging from keeping secrets and lying to people at the right price. The two became friends and Jubi was even given the position of assistant manager, helping Oniedah with anything she needed done or taking over while she was gone. Now that Oniedah has claimed she's giving the motel up, she feels as if she needs to step up to the plate and take charge of the business.

UNIQUE: The motel is supposed to fit in and not stick out from the other seedy businesses around the Red Light District when in fact it is a hotspot for criminals, hookers and people on the run. It's a place where anyone can come and hide if need be, and most of its occupants take part in some kind of illegal activities but with the right amount of money, or some sweet talking, everyone's secret is safe there.

EXP:In DE I've been working with Oniedah at the motel as an assistant manager for the inn, taking on whatever she needed to be done. I've also helped other business owners with event suggestions and ways to improve their RP in their businesses. Although I'm still kind of new to running a business, I feel now is the perfect opportunity to share my ideas and show everything I am capable of. I have a very big imagination and am willing to share my ideas with the rest of the community.

IDEAS:I want the motel to be a place for everyone to be able to come to and have fun. I think it would be interesting to create a system of some sort for the hookers in the Red Light District to be called in for work at the motel instead of just always hanging out on the streets. I also want the motel to be a place where criminals can hide out if they need to and allow them to pay the staff to keep their secrets from the police or anyone who comes asking. With the amount of RP scenes that could occur at the motel, I'm really up for anything that anyone can think of!

OTHER:Anyone who has met Jubi knows that she would do anything to make everyone around her happy. Since her arrival in DE, she has grown accustomed to the ways of life and tries her best to see from everyone else's' point of view before judging them. Having her own mix-ups with the law, she knows how hard life in DE can be and just wants the best for people around her. Working at the motel gives her the perfect opportunity to help all sorts of people with all different kinds of problems, making both the customer and her happy. I really want to make sure the motel gets more RP and attention than it has now since it really can be a great place for any kind of scene! Overall, I hope the motel will be a safe-zone people feel they can come to for any sort of IC problem!
