BACKGROUND: I would like to follow in mela's footsteps of being fire Chief.. I put in another bid for this job before cause someone else had started early but now that its formally up for grabs.. i would like to try again just in case.. My Character has been in the fire living for some time even before she had left home... and was Captain at her old.. she is currently Lieutenant at her old one.. She has been with this station since she got to town.. the people shes connected with and made her family... since taking the Lieutenant role she has stepped up bringing in new members and getting them trained which i love doing.. its been a joy to train them. and make new family members.. this station isn't just a job .. its that .. FAMILY.. we aren't co workers.. we aren't just a crew .. its about family here.. i love this station its home.. even we have homes outside the station the station is still our home.. cause that is where our family is .. we trust each other . and respect each other.. and my Character is very very overly protected of her family...She's already started to attempt to fix the PD/FD issues.. she plans on going to the higher chain of command and talk with them see if there is a middle ground somewhere.. perhaps have a few gatherings where the pd and fd can get to know each other on a more balanced ground we need each other to save people.. i want to try to get atleast a medium if i can't fix it .. as far as the station and the crew i want to do monthly bbq's .. get together with the family.. of course others may attend as well .. but i want the closeness we got now to stay and carry on to the new family memembers.. Was thinking in the summer or spring .. i would talk to the admins have a firemen's fair somewhere if we got space ... events to bring some focus on the fire department and how great it is.. of course bringing up the members so that we can do more for the city so we can be there when we are needed .. I've already brought in two in the last few weeks and i have another who is considering.. everyone in this family tends to help make the new members feel like one of their owns.. there is truely nothing better then being part of this family..they are my brothers and sisters in our smokey life style...this is where my passion and lust for life truely stands with them and this life we make here... and i would be honored to lead them... i can't image my life with out them...

UNIQUE: Just being there when we are called.. if i can get enough members into the family. we wil be able to make more calls less npc's.. not that npc's aren't great.. but being able to rp with a person is what we are all here for.. being more active is what i'm aiming for.. brining back the members who used to love this rp .. and showing them that this can be fun again... being a paramedic firefighter can be serious but i want to make it fun for the people who call us .. and the people who go out there . even fun for the cops... and that is what we need ooc.. while our iclys are working we need to feel like its fun for us to do .. or we won't want to do it .. so many have left cause they lost the fun and i want to bring the fun back into our rp.. and be able to be there for the city... and show them that we are dependable to keep them safe..

EXPERIENCE:I currently own a shop in town.. DE Psychic Paths Psychopaths which i fully intend to close down to give my full time to the station. as that is where my passion lies.. i've had it for a few months and it was thriving with tons of members coming seeking rp and as much as i love it the fire is what brought me to DE and i would do anything for this station ... i have had several business's in sl .. clubs/photos/ ran several clans in rpg world that lasted yrs... but due to money issues it usually ran out.. or sim closings... or the game shutting down...there is always drama its how you handle it that counts.. i also spend years in gor .. and i spend time at a teaching the girls for a good year... which i truely enjoyed i can't say how good it feels to know you made a difference in somones life.. so teaching and leading is something I KNOW i am good at .. and i know i can handle this.. and would love the chance to prove it..

IDEAS:simply talk to them.. i've been doing it .. all i've done is tell them how much i love being a fire fighter.. the thrill the passion . the feeling i get when i know i saved somone.. when we go on the call we know there is a good chance we can loose a patience.. there is a chance that we could fail .. but the overwhelming feeling when you know you have saved them.. and they will live makes you feel as if you made a difference.. and the thrill.. that high you get when you run into the fire.. when you put it out and was able to save the building .. and that persons home.. is a feeling like no other... all i have done is talk to the people and tell them how it makes me feel . and how the life with the family is.. and how awesome we just are .. * grins* .. usually they think it sounds pretty awesome.. which they find out it is so much better then i had explained..

OTHER:Bon fire for sure... cause hell whats the use of being a fireman if you can't set stuff on fire right??? in front of the station and hope we don't get no calls for a two hours ya know.. everyone comes and we celebrate what a wonderful job mela had done.. i don't want to just celebrate that i taken over but its a tough shoes to fill .. and we are all gonna miss her .. i want to honor her as well celebrate that we are gonna move forward the way we have been with a few changes..
