Dead End Cinema

BACKGROUND: As leader of the cinema and a long time member of Dead End, I would like to start an expansive storyline that involves all that makes a good story. Drugs, sex and scandal. Events would be weekly/monthly movie nights be it porn or golden screen classics. All proceeds would go to various charities including the hospital or asylum to pay for medical supplies. Other events would be date auctions, mud wrestling contests, etc. It wouldn't just end at making new employees feel included, but making new members of the sim feel like they have a spot to begin their lives in our city. As management I would try to work with other managers to create events, create story lines and partnerships.

UNIQUE: The cinema is a longtime fixture of the role play, yet not as frequently used due to no management or lack of ideas to make it more interesting. With my ideas on events and story lines, I can attempt to make it a more inviting place to host role play.

EXPERIENCE:I once ran the massage parlor and created some fun story lines that friends and I played out. I also do tend to create plenty of in game drama and out of character I am likeable and friendly. I never mix IC and OOC together, staying to realism within the RP. I have experience as a moderator/admin in different role plays in SL and out, enforcing the rules and helping members with issues they have.

IDEAS:I would help new players to the sim by giving them a welcoming place to begin their in game lives. To start a new RP can be awkward and intimidating, but being friendly and accepting of them can start them on their paths. New employees would have a place to role play and join story lines and work at events. Role Play is meant to be fun, so everyone deserves to enjoy it.

OTHER:A grand opening even should stand out above everything else going on in the RP. It is a cinema, so a grand movie night and charity auction is what I have in mind. I'd like to partner with the homeless shelter if able. The auction would be for handsome men and beautiful women to be auctioned off for dates. What happens on those dates are the winners and winees business! All proceeds of the auction would go to the homeless shelter to buy food and supplies.
