Proposal for a fun alternative to the hospital, but warning to DEMH staff who want to try working at both. Rosters will be introduced to DE soon which keep track of time spent as will a web-based charting system. inactivity at the hospital will result in ejection from it to keep the system unclogged! its okay if you prefer working in private clinics, just keep in mind you might have to reapply to DEMH if you activity sinks for too long!

GROUP NAME: Dead Drop Medical Clinic

TYPE: Medical Clinic- Cheap/Free

BACKSTORY: My character, Dr. Dru Lambert, decided after having twins that her schedule at the hospital was too sporadic and decided to realize her dream of opening up a Free clinic close to her hpuse in dead drop. When she pitched the idea to her two best friends, sisters Syreni and Nadiya, nurses at DEMH they loved it and began constructing plans to build on a corner lot in dead drop. They have always been compassionate and wanted to be available at any hour to help people in need. They dont have the capacitiy to handle large scale emergencies but rather would like to offer an alternative to generalized healthcare, by providing the citizens with the option of private practice. All patients and all insurance will be excepted, including medicare and medicaid as well as the uninsured.

UNIQUE: A clinic in Dead Drop is unlike any business that is currently running, it will offer an alternative to those who are injured with in the city but so not want to go to the hospital or deal with police. Since the clinic will be privately funded it will have no ties to the state and wont be required to report medical reports, it will offer a safe haven to the criminals and other citizens that wish to fly under the radar and stay out of trouble.

EXP:I manage the Porn store in the City with Dion, and have helped create a following with it and promote city wide role play within the confines of such a small store. Also for the better part of the past year my character ran DEMH, I also created the hospital record system using note cards.

IDEAS:I wish to have an alternative to a state run institution such as the hospital, and give the citizens of the city a choice when it comes to healthcare. Also offer the citizens a safe haven from having incidents reported to the police as well as offering, rehab services, and a safe haven for those that are homeless, abused, battered and generally scared to be on the streets. My character, along with Sy and Nadiya would offer a sense of compassion to those that society with just as soon cast off to the wayside. They believe everyone deserves a second chance and some people need help getting back on their feet.

OTHER:It will also promote good cross role play between the Hospital and private practice, providing out patient care for any need, whether it be Ob/Gyn services, blood tests, medication management or psychological services Dead Drop Medical clinic has something for everyone's need and is there to help.
