BACKSTORY: Even though the court house building is gone we still have the DE District Court group and as its been pointed out on the forums it would be nice if we had some Judges to RP with. We still have people who RP being DA's & Lawyers. After a bit of back and forth discussion on the forums we decided it would be good if just like the 911 channel where people rp say "Hank the Dispatcher" who has become a well loved character in Dead End we could also rp " Judge O'Conner " or whomever with their own personality and traits. For a lot of the Judge parts it could simply be done in the RP group chat, where the lawyers, police and DA's would be a part of.

UNIQUE: Well when Officer A arrests Criminal X for assault. Once the officer is done with is beat down.. I mean interrogation Criminal X is going to need a lawyer. Said lawyer could be notified via the RP chat.. that a public defender is needed. Once the lawyer has arrived and gotten some rp time in, they'll be wanting to ask for bail. That would be done using the same tool that the officers currently use to figure it up, only Rp'd with a judge character. It adds depth to the rp. Also, the judges could be contacted Via the rp chat channel to sign warrants, arrange divorces, do mediation. We dont have to have a physical building as a lot of it would be done in the RP channel, however if it came to needing a building for a face to face meeting there is that office beside the quicky mart full of desks that would certainly work to hash out a custody agreement of the npc kids or the family poodle.

EXP:Welll I'm currently Owner of the Red herring in Dead End and a GM. I'm fair, readily availble and willing to do whatever I can to add in the role play in DE.

IDEAS:IC it will bring more rp to the judical and legal system. Give the criminals and law enforcement further RP. A sense of completion.. follow through. Continuation of story line. OOC Well the Judges are all very active members of DE and with the full support of Flak and the PD I can see us arranging some interesting story lines with corrupt judges and the like. It will also add a more realistic feel to peoples lives who get married/divorced as it can be seen to by one of the judges.

OTHER:Currently the judges that are interested in heading up the judicial system are of course Myself, Kahlen Vaniva as well as Shade Manx, Ming Yheng, Gabriella Thibodeaux. We have the full support of the DEPD and Chief Flak and are looking forward to furthering DE's legal corruption.. err system. De's Legal system.
