GROUP NAME: Broken Betties

TYPE: Cabaret/Burlesque Club/Brothel

BACKSTORY: The idea for the business came about as a cover for an all female gang that I would also like to create. The gang would be a group of females tired of being mistreated by the men in the community or in their past and have banded together in order to make them the victims. The group would engage in activities such as seducing a man into paying for her company and then would drug him or roll him and take his money, or to target known rapists and teach them a lesson. The business would be a safe place for the women in the gang to target and interact with their marks as well as offering a cover for their less than legal activities and providing a means to fund their other endeavors.

UNIQUE: For one it would be an all female organization. It would also offer a different atmosphere than most DE businesses. I would like the decor to be reminiscent of an old 1920s burlesque theater, both elegant and tawdry at the same time, and bring back the idea of the striptease, and the idea of "leaving it to the imagination". The feel of the place would literally be like stepping back in time.

EXP:In the nearly 3 years I have been in SL (my original avi was created in nov of 2008) I have lead and helped lead several groups both in RP as well as SL in general; including but not limited to 3 bloodlines clans, 2 Motorcycle Clubs, a night club/brothel, and my own photo studio. I have also helped design and ran a hud based RP game, and I managed a Hunger Empire consisting of 10 factions that totaled approximately 200 people.

IDEAS:I think the club would bring a different type of entertainment to the table. Depending on the staff as well as finding the right animations would try to have different shows and costumes as well as offering special themed events once a week. The establishment itself would offer a safe haven for women as well, without it being a trick to lure them into believing they are safe only to use and abuse them, which is in itself a novel idea. It would also allow for RP where the woman is the aggressor and the man the victim which is not very common. The gang aspect would also add a bit of vigilante justice and may also become an organization for hire for abused women which could open up a lot of RP possibilities.

OTHER:I think the idea for the club as well as the gang behind it would open up a lot possible RP storylines. There would be interaction with newspaper, the DEPD and it is something I think would appeal to everyone in DE.
