BACKGROUND: Axe Pharmaceuticals primary function would be researching and manufacturing medications. The company would also serve as the primary provider for the DEMH as well as a small pharmacy. The facility also covers research spanning the entire spectrum of drug discovery, development, evaluation, and regulatory approval. Extensive testing and monitoring of test subjects’ physical and mental health are high priorities for the staff. Role Play Opportunity Examples 1) Staff & Test Subjects: Citizens can work or volunteer at the facility under their own free will, becoming valuable members of the corporation. However, members of the DEMH staff can be kidnapped and forced to perform research or random citizens can be kidnapped and forced to undergo testing. 2) DEPD and DEFD: The DEPD can launch an investigation into the facility on the grounds of illegal testing and poor/unsafe conditions in the labs, illegal sales to citizens, selling placebos rather than the real drug. The DEFD will surely be needed from time to time when chemicals get mix wrong and cause issues and potential fire. 3) DEMH: Axe Pharmaceuticals would become the main provider of narcotics for the hospital as well as aid in research into new treatments. Of course, some tests may leave the volunteers in need of physical or mental treatment and would be sent to the DEMH until they recover. 4) Factions: Deals with faction leaders could be made to provide or create certain drugs for their use or even pay to have a monopoly on the supply of specific drug. There is also the opportunity to raid the facility as well as try to interfere with the relationship with the DEMH (stalling deals, stealing supplies, paying to have placebos sent instead of the real drug, etc). Events and Inclusion Opportunities:There are a wide variety of events that could be held that would include other businesses and the citizens of Dead End. DEMH sponsored blood drives, AA meetings catered by the Pizza Slut, a Grand Opening catered by Lulu’s, a discussion of kink and psychology with Dark Room staff on hand. The list is relatively endless and would easily help support and bring attention to the other businesses around. Ambitious citizens can hire a staff member to kidnap another citizen, bribe staff for medication or records, or even sell their own narcotic or treatment ideas to the facility.

UNIQUE:

EXPERIENCE: I absolutely love the sim and I want to give something back to the people that have made it so great. My previous experience as a sim owner and admin on several sims will also help this be a success! This line of business goes perfectly with my character's background and allows me to interact even more with the citizens of Dead End which ultimately help create further story lines for myself and others.
