Just recently i've been thinking a lot about creating a new alt. Pretty soon after i started this thought process i had many many ideas for all kinds of characters, certainly a lot more that i originally intended to think up and more than i think i could ever afford to create and play!

Unfortunatley, due to my seemingly hexed job hunting attempts of late i'm probably quite a long way off creating even one of my imagination creations and i really want to share the ideas with people in someway if i can't go ahead and create them.

So i thought, as something a little different, people could put up their ideas for new characters/alts. Maybe just as a talking point or showcase of your imagination or perhaps you want some advice or input from others on a planned character.

Here's a few of mine:

Persephone: A French girl, sweeping looks, a very cool and erotic lady. Shamelessly i've plaguerised her from the Matrix movies (She was in Reloaded and Revolutions as the Merovingian's girl). Though only loosely based. She'd have a quietness about her but a sharp whit and i think i could pull off a french accent with the bastardisation of the english written word to make her voice/accent come to life. Dark, flowing hair, pale skin, tall, almost mystique in look. She'd actually be a porn/fetish model, world famous, about the only thing DE has that could attract someone 'famous' like her is the fledgling porn industry, she'd become a celebrity of DE, about the only place a fetish model could become a target for autograph hunters...

Dimitri: I realllly want to create this one. Dimtri actually comes up in Lucy's RP from time to time, he's her NPC fixer and right hand man. He's Eastern European, not sure where, i'm thinking the Ukraine. The guy, is not a potato farmer or immigrant plumber though, he's suave, worldly and smexy. Cool and calm, friendly until pushed and a quick, if not understated sense of humor. He's pretty much based on any character played by Jean Reno. This one i want to do because Lucy talks about him often enough and i think it'd be a rare, good attempt at a fixer style character.

Unamed: Not thought up a name for this one, mostly because i doubt she'll ever get done, mostly because she'd be the proprietor of an idea for a business idea i had for in DE. "The Emporium" a shop that sells everything any DEer could ever possibly need, from specialist food (Mostly proper bacon, chips, yorkshire pudding and brown sauce for us UK DEers 😛 ) to tools, weaponry, sex and BDSM toys etc... Something like this would be a fun undertaking and add a little more realism to the sim as well as give a place for newbies to maybe learn something. The character for this would be a punky girl, tall, blonde hair, pretty much Petra with a bit more sass and sexual drive with funky hair and taste in clothes, her main mannerism will be her almost habitual chewing of gum.

The Joker: Yes... again, shameless rip off, this one is worse, we've already had Sick Lee and now Jaco the Clown But! The Joker is the joker and I think a DE variant of him would be awesome, then again I've yet to see Jaco/Jervis in action so this may yet be a moot point!

Katey String: An actual current alt of mine, Lucy's a switch and a bitch, she's... very hard to play sometimes, she does mostly come naturally but sometimes i feel the need to be cute, innocent and naive and what little Lucy had of these characteristics left her a long long time ago. So Katey was/is my escape from that, she used to be a part of the Street Angels (an old DE faction formed up of the young, homeless cuties on sim) she was, mental but in the opposite sense to Lucy, she was completely naive and oblivious to the ways of the real world and had a strange view of it and the things that happened inside of it. With the absence of the Street Angels and a need to concentrate on Lucy even more than usual recently Katey is now a simple Indie Rock Chic, currently a Dancer at Lulu's and that's about it until i can find something for her to do, i'm thinking about getting her hired up to one of the porn studios on sim but for now, if anyone has any ideas for a cute Indie girl i'm all ears.

Lucy Morrisey: Not an alt. Yet. I've, as some people will know all to well had a few times in the last year or two made my intentions known that Lucy will be killed off or be semi-permanently 'disappeared' but i keep coming back to her at the last moment and find myself almost stuck with her, like some STD. That said, for a long long time now it has been my intention to... leave her by the wayside someday. She's gone from being a rough house but ultimately good cop to the most corrupt and possibly mentalist cop DE has ever seen, naturally characters like this have a shelf life because it's not the sort of behaviour, even in a place like DE, that can last forever. I've got several ideas for Lucy's slow demise and in ways, everything i've done with her upto this point and the things happening now are the seeds for Lucy's end. End being either the end, a long break or a severe change in her. I've got my Maze Rats factions up and running now and Lucy is the main outside force in that, she might one day become solely a Maze Rat, with an arrest, court trial, prison and escape all as part of the journey from where she is now to where she could end up, then again.... anything could happen with her, that's why i love her so.

I know that plenty of us are always imagining new scenarios and characters so maybe it's time to share them with the wider world?
