shade-manxsaidR-E-S-P-C-T Tell you what it means to me. There has always been an amount of conflict in this sim, it is something that happens when a group of highly intelligent highly creative people come together to tell a tale. I expect this, and I feel that everyone else should expect it as well. But, I have also noticed that there is a lot of arguments over small things, that should not be issues. There are a lot of people complaining simply to complain. And, there are a ton of people getting hurt feelings or uptight, when there is no reason for this. All everyone has to do is remember that there is an expected amount of respect that NEEDS to be given to others. There is no filter for sarcasm online, there are strong possibilities that your joke might be taken the wrong way, and on the same note, is your reaction to something that might be a joke appropriate to the situation? Ask yourself how you could be the adult and have handled the situation differently. I would like to see a more open minded, and friendly Dead End, when it comes to people that might test your patience. It isnt always easy, but a friendlier attitude is going to help keep Dead End a friendly, but large Rp, and a community to keep on bragging about.. Basic human compassion, and understanding when communicating issues will make the sim a much better place.. So, I challenge everyone to try to be more polite, and control your tempers when at the keyboard. It is easy to blast someone with words, but it takes skill to use those words to argue your point, and listen to another person's point of view. Respect others, and in return you will gain respect.. Thank you, Shade. |
