AnonymoussaidJust wanted to throw a few suggestions out there for the 8's. *The need manager sign is still hanging over the door and I would love to have it taken down since I'm still getting inquiries from players coming into the 8's over the job. *The rays from the overhead lights have not been set to phantom and it makes it hard for rp'ers who want to stand on the bar or dance on the tables...not that I condone this behavior. *grins* *Is there anyway we could replace the old candy machine for a jukebox? Most of the players assume it's a cigarette machine anyways, and I think a jukebox would fit in better with the theme of an old rundown pool hall. *There is a tipped over stool over in the back corner and is basically a waste of space. I though removing it and replacing it with a small table and stool would be a better use of prims and space. We got the 2 extra bar stools, but could really still use some more sitting areas besides the pool tables in case players want to rp a game. *My last suggestion is kinda a big one and has more to do with sim run business bosses on a whole. I personally would love to start running a small event at the 8's once a month, but it's hard to get the word out on the sim without sending out group announcements, and as of right now...the only persons I know I can go through for that is Kay and Fae, both of which do an awesome job of helping whenever I have needed them, but they already have their hands full with so much other GM business, not to mention...they can't be on ALL the time. I was wondering if anyone had ever thought about given sim business bosses announcer rights in the group. It would make announcing our events much easier and we wouldn't have to trouble the already overworked GM's. I would assume some guidelines could be set-up for announcers, limiting them on how many post they could make a day or even needing us to NC our announcement and have it approved before we send it out. Of course this is just a suggestion. Thanks in advance for you time, comments, and consideration. |
