GROUP NAME: DEFD

BACKSTORY: As with the already existing DEFD I plan to continue along those lines. As well as the training already being done I would like to try to get more IC role play training in sit down classes for both medical and fire situations. Monthly fire training courses for those who need the fire training with actual fire going on as well. Since beginning the DEFD has come a long way already, but I still think it can still go further yet. I will try to get us out there even more, letting people out in Dead End know we will be around when called. For this I will plan out some events, like maybe a competition with strength and agility that the DEFD can sponser. This can also be worked into possible recruitment possibilities as the DEFD does not bring in a lot of people that want to actively work there as of yet. I would like to let people know as well that a fire event can be set up with approval, we would like to do the fires so please bring us the ideas as we will try to get them done and approved to rp out! That aside though my main and more important thoughts are to try to get someone physically there for each call that DEFD is called out to. I know this is a near impossibility as things can come up and I don't expect anyone to drop everything to go on a call. That said I will try to have most calls answered and everyone given help if asked, no one left to go without help no matter what the situation between the wounded/sick and the DEFD medic/fire fighter. Now as I figure this will be brought up at some point here by people let me say this now. Yes, Melangell is the second in command of Doz Equis and she will be Chief of the fire department if this goes though. Now as some might think that this might cause some bias with certain people and groups around Dead End let me just say that in no way will Melangell stop any medical attention or any other kind of help to anyone that she might be against or have issues with as a member of Doz. Everyone will be treated the same and get the same deserving attention. And she will expect that of all the people under her in the DEFD as well.

UNIQUE: The DEFD is a pretty much essential and needed thing in Dead End to work in conjunction with the police and bring in the emergency treatment to those on the streets and bring them to hospital. It has already shown since it first started that it has been a big help around the city as well as bring in better role play for the emergency medical treatment. As well as the couple of fires that we have already done adding to the role play scene.

EXP:I am already the Captain of the DEFD and have worked with the people that have come to work here with whatever they need. I have for the most part been partly leading the DEFD under the current Chief helping him out with whatever needs to get done. I also have worked with others in getting together a fire event already with the bombing of Unite which shows I will very gladly talk with others and get things going to help create fun role play as well as help keep a drama free role play. I will also expect the people under me in the DEFD to keep it drama free as well.

IDEAS:I would like to try to get possible recruitment events like as stated above earlier as well as just to get the name of DEFD out there even more. Then the courses of training that are held IC'ly as well that can help people who want to work here with how to deal with different situations that might come up in a role play.

OTHER:I believe that we need to keep the DEFD around as it is becoming a big part of the community.
