GROUP NAME: Tarot and Occult Book Shop

TYPE: Tarot readings and occult bookstore

BACKSTORY: The Tarot and Occult Book Shop is meant to be an occultist gathering hub and rumor mill within the Dead End underworld. As well as being a place to recruit and lure the naive into one of the darker under bellies of society. But will also strive to do so with a sense of discreetness, and non-favoritism toward any group or individual. The shop represents Uilliam's long interest in the occult and modern ritual magic theory. And has come about as a wish of his to share the 'gateway' elements of occultism to the world about him, generally in the form of a place to preform tarot readings and sell books on the topics of the occult and ritual magic. It would be meant to entertain those with an in character interest and curiosity to take their first steps into the 'secret' world of occultism. As well as to provide a place for cults to look for new members to lure in or recruit. A secondary objective is to provide a more posh/aristo goth subculture themed location in Dead End.

UNIQUE: Will present a location inside the main downtown area to be away from prying eyes in pursuit of occultist endeavors. Will operate and run in complete 'neutrality' of the various factions and groups within Dead End. And present a place where no group exerts influence or sway, offering a level meeting ground. Offering a posh/aristo goth atmosphere to role play in.

EXP:Have taken on leadership roles for role play groups when I was apart of player event co-ordination in Neverwinter Nights role play servers. Always make an effort to hear out others points, and reasoning. As well as considering their motivations with regard toward what will make a role play fun for them. Previously had a similar business up and running within Dead Drop called 'The Magic Shop', without any issue. But needed to discontinue that due to real life time constraints.

IDEAS:Will work to offer more goth appealing role play events, and an atmospheric location. Which will give Dead End a greater appeal to a wider base of sub-culture in the Second Life role play community.

OTHER:Actual tarot readings done (with a scripted deck), don't know of that happening anywhere else in Dead End. 🙂 Previous URL from the DE boards, for when I opened 'The Magic Shop' and group.
