Hi everyone,

I was hoping that some of you might be able to give me some advice as to where to work in DE? I'm pretty new to the sim and loving the RP I've had so far, but I'd like to get more involved if possible.

I really think the advice to get a job is a good one, but I'm just conscious that I don't want to step on people's existing storylines or anything. So I was hoping to run my thoughts past you guys to see what would be a good option for me.

As I'm new to DE and still feeling my way around, I was thinking that good places to work might be in more of a service area, so I was thinking a clerk at the Icky Quickie Mart, or possibly as a server at the Jade Dragon (or a similar restaurant/bar). That way I can ease into the RP in the place without causing too much pain. But I don't know whether there are some story arcs happening in these places that would make it really weird to have someone new show up and just start working, if that makes any sense! 😀

Also, I'm in Australia, so I'm online when a lot of US players are not, so ideally a job that I can do solo when needed. That's why I was thinking of a cashier or waitress, as I don't need a major story-arc to serve customers.

I'd appreciate any thoughts you all might have, and if I've put this in the wrong forum please let me know or feel free to move it.
