Syn Rosa (aka Dr. Seerose) is a young ravishing looking woman of good social upbringing, with high intelligence and a university degree in neurological psychology. She has all the ingredients to be a highly successful psychologist, yet here she is, hiding in the outskirts of Dead End, lurking for men to come past her lair, have loads of sex with them and destroy them afterwards. Where did it go wrong, one might ask. Well, where didn't it go wrong to be honest.

Her lifestory is a very complex one, but it needs to be told. It is the story of how an innocent girl ultimately became a sexual deviant. It is also a hint to the fact that in every innocent there lurks a deviant and in every deviant there hides an innocent. If such labels hold any truth at all.

It all began when Syn Seerose, also called Little Rosa, was six years old. It was then that her parents discovered she had been sexually abused by a family friend. This changed their lives for good. Syn's father, Anthony Seerose, who had been working as a social worker, became a sort of vigilante, always looking for and fighting against rapists of any kind. Her mother, Mildred Camplin, stopped working as a lawyer and started to make up for all the mistakes they had made so far, eternally spoiling the child to the core.

Syn was a very resilient child and although the damage was done, she quickly developed into a child with high intelligence, who could skip multiple classes and go to university at an early age. She was only twenty one years old when she got her Masters degree in neurological psychology and just one year later she got the position of Head of the highly esteemed Institute for Behavioral Experimentation and Adaptation in the New York region.

So far so good and a golden future seemed to be promised to her. But her father had not been sitting idle all those years and he had made many enemies. Not only had he thwarted the mafia family led by Trent Licksby on numerous occasions, he also got into conflict with the secret organization of the Purple Cross, which led to a direct confrontation with Governor Hornton. Now if only someone had checked, they might have found out that governor Hornton was part of the committee that approved Dr. Seerose's appointment as head of the famous Institute. Not only that, the thirteen heavy criminals admitted to the scientific program, were also chosen by that committee and six of those were former members of Licksby's criminal organisation.

Within a year Dr. Seerose disappeared and the Institute got taken over by Dr. Anderson, a man of questionable reputation. For a year everything went quiet around the Institute until a group of female bikers, led by someone called Ashley Manx, burned the place to the ground. A battle with the police was the result and every member of the biker gang was killed, or so everyone blieved. The whole affair was hushed and most traces of it disappeared. Ashley survived.

Many years later Syn Rosa appeared in Dead End. Well, a young woman appeared who had quite forgotten who she was but slowly she was recovering of what seemed to have been a period of six years in which she suffered from severe psychosis. And as her memories were restored, so was the horrible truth about what had really happened in the Institute so many years ago.

The Institute had run some months under Dr. Seerose, in which time she booked remarkable successes. She even wrote a book in those days, which is still a standard work in psychiatric care "Traumatic Induced Personality Disorder, How to recognize and treat.". Then one day she went inside the heavily protected compound to check on some patients and for some reason all the locks were released, Dr. Seerose was captured by her patients and raped without end. Nobody came to her aid. Instead, the Institute got a new director and the program was drastically reformed. The newer program was not aimed on curing violent behavior in criminally insane patients, no it was directed on how to break a young woman and turn her into a sexual slave. Over the months many women were brought in to be tested upon, but Dr. Seerose remained the core of activities, as it proved really difficult to break her, no matter the severity of the tortures. Until she got pregnant and they forced an abortion on her, only then did she crack. Ever since that time her love for and grief over her deceased daughter Lily plays in the background of her actions, as well as the fact that her tortures have rendered her infertile.

To cut a long story short, Syn Seerose recovered from the ordeal, but of course not without the heavy psychosis always lurking in the background. At times she would experience fallbacks or nervous breakdowns, even though much of her old resilience seemed to have survived the long and numerous ordeals.
As she discovered that her parents had both passed away during her six year absence, she decided to honor her fathers work and start a Shelter for abused women in Dead End. She used her inheritance for that and when a millionaire in the city saw how much good work she did, he left her with a large sum of money to get her organization staffed and housed.

As Patroness Syn Rosa, as she now called herself, steered the Shelter through many ordeals and setbacks. They got evicted a couple of times, there were numerous lawsuits against her because her so called Angels didn't always work according to the law in their fight against the many rapists housed in and around Dead End, and she got kidnapped a few times herself, resulting in long periods of hospitalization, recovering and at one point she even had to relearn how to walk because of a severe injury to her left knee. Yet in all that time she never gave up and that was mostly because of the people that surrounded her and kept her going.

The most important person in Syn Rosa's life was of course Pandora. She was a mysterious woman who according to the official records did not exist or in truth had passed away. However, being declared dead has its advantages, although her mental state was not as we call 'normal'. Pandora had survived the loss of her young husband Eric, but had thrown herself in the insanity of dark spirituality in which revenge was her primary goal. Always accompanied by her raven called 'Nevermore' this dark and sinister woman had a great impact on Syn Rosa's own mental stability, sometimes for the better, but also sometimes making things worse.

The second person of great importance was Katie, a young girl with a very disturbing past, raised by the Blackheart family who specialized in child kidnapping and trading. Katie had been spared the ordeal of being traded off but was instead used to kidnap girls and help prepare them for slavery. When Katie ended up in Dead End as refugee in the Shelter, Syn Rosa took her into her heart and arms and adopted her, swearing to protect her forever from the evil Blackheart gang. Katie later got pregnant and gave birth to wonderful twin girls, name Lily and Lizebeth.
She adopted a second daughter named Flynt and almost a third named Neph, but when Neph got killed before any adoption papers could be signed, the whole idea of adopting girls got pushed to the background.

Many others played important roles in her life, like her lovers Shan and Zim, her friends Lou, Shade, Flak, Malcolm, Fenix, Rowan, Evi, Jamie, Alecia, Donu and many others, each good for many stories, adventures and sometimes life determining changes.

One of those stories is particularly worth mentioning as it had a lasting effect on Syn Rosa's life later on. Syn got involved with Harry Howser in the early days of her stay in dead End. Harry had been in some sort of problems and Syn had discovered him in a situation that he did not ever want to have revealed. So he gave her a lot of money, which in turn helped her fund the Shelter. Later on she developed a kind of love affair with Harry and he knew how to make use of her darker moments, when she sometimes lost her way. For instance, he manipulated Pandora and her to kidnap Fae for him. Later on he manipulated Syn to have sex with his father. However, that turned out differently than expected. Syn kind of lost her mind because of the way Harry's father treated her and she ended up capturing his father and torturing him brutally. That in turn led to the destruction (or at least disappearance) of the Howser family in Dead End as Harry got blamed for that. The important thing for Syn however was that for the first time in her life she had experienced what it felt like to have real power over a man.

Then in the spring of 2012, everything seemed to go wrong. Most of her loyal and trusted friends had left Dead End and Syn found herself dealing with a lot of problems on her own. But just when things seemed to go down the drain for good, a young woman appeared, called Izzy, who helped things immensely, using her enormous drive and strong will to restore the Shelter to its former glory. Syn Rosa found her believe back in a future of a city without rapists. But then disaster struck and it struck threefold, dealing such massive blows to her and everyone around her that everything changed for good.

First of all Izzy disappeared and after long searching her body was found, all mangled and torn, having suffered heavy torture. She died in the hospital. Syn Rosa swore never to sleep again until she had found the perpetrators, only to discover that all traces to the crime had been covered and there was no doubt about government involvement in all this. Syn Rosa was stunned and immediately convinced this was her old history coming back to haunt her. The thirteen headed monster came back in her dreams, in the few moment she actually slept, but also kept lurking in the shadows of the alleys. Her paranoia was then heightened even more when the nurse who took care of the twins was horribly massacred and the twins themselves disappeared. Again Syn swore bitter revenge and once it turned out to be the Blackheart family who were coming back to haunt Katie, Syn didn't rest until she got one of them in the square in front of Lulu's and killed him on the spot. Syn got arrested for that while at the same time Katie got kidnapped by one of the other brothers. That's when all her faith in justice, friendship and goodness shattered. Unjustly so, because she still had lots of friends, like Ming and Asuka, who helped her out of prison and taking away most of the blame for the murder she had committed.
Syn Rosa was devastated. She had already by then forgotten she still had a Shelter to run. Most of the time she stayed in her laboratory, a private project she had started in the days she had started working in the asylum, as it was always short on supplies for drugs and psychiatric medication which Syn started to manufacture herself. Now she turned into her own best client and she started living on pills, alcohol and cigarettes while continuing her search for her daughters and grandchildren.
Syn received her final blow when she wandered the alleys, endlessly searching for her daughter and the twins. A message came in, showing a picture of the twins all covered in blood. They clearly had been savagely murdered.

Later that day Katie turned up in the hospital, severely injured but alive. Syn kidnapped her own daughter to the Shelter and hid there, refusing to let anyone near her anymore. A siege was called for and in Syn's madness she felt that the Blackheart family was at the door. She did not recognize her friends from the police force, like Asuka and Aisha. Instead she felt they were going to be kidnapped again and probably tortured to death. To spare her daughter that fate Syn tried to kill Katie, but discovered that she simply couldn't So instead she turned her knife on herself and stuck it deep in her stomach to end all the misery for once and for all...

Three weeks later. Syn had recovered from her failed suicide and having recovered also from the madness caused by her own medicine, the alcohol and the sleep deprivation, she was mentally stable enough to be allowed to live an almost normal life. The Shelter had been closed by welfare workers, because of her proven instability. Syn lived in her private laboratory, together with Pandora and the two of them spoke a lot about all sorts of things. Katie of course had also recovered but she didn't want to see her mother, trying in her own way to deal with the death of her children and the way her mother had collapsed on her like that.
Syn still had a lot of nightmares and they were often about the thirteen headed monster but also about Nevermore, the raven Pandora had carried months ago. Pandora then took Syn to the swamp out of town and together they performed some sort of witchcraft ritual, that made Syn hallucinate about spiders. This had not been the first time she had that. Spiders had always played an important role in her life. When she was a six year old girl being raped in the tool shed of her parents, she had held a spider in her hands for comfort. Now the circle was completed and Syn had the psychotic experience of being destroyed and rebuild as a kind of spider herself. While Pandora refound her raven, Syn made a pact with a spider she found living in the swamp, and which she affectionately called the 'old lady', which not only referred to the size of the spider and her age, but also to her grandmother who had been kind of a witch.

It is a well known fact that the black widow spider grab a male to impregnate herself and then consumes him. Syn has found this lust inside her growing stronger and stronger, finding the desire for sexual dominance becoming the main driving force behind her actions nowadays.
She now lives in her laboratory, living of the money she has earned through all her endeavours as well as the money she makes from producing new types of designer drugs. She takes care of a girl called Teo, who she had kidnapped from the asylum and who she treats as if it is her long lost daughter Lily. She is helped in her enterprise by Pandora and some other girls as well, some who were kidnapped themselves, others who joined her out of free will, convinced as they are Dr. Seerose is preparing a better world for women in general. And all the time Syn is on the lookout for nice male specimen to breed with women of her choosing.

Syn Rosa had come a long way. From brilliant child to Head of a psychiatric Institute, from manipulator to manipulated, from free independent woman to sex slave, from mother to mental patient, from lost to found, from homeless to shelter provider, from lonely woman to mother again, from mother to spider queen...
