GROUP NAME: The Hedonist

BACKSTORY: Having been asked/promoted ICLY to the manager position by the current leaders of this business, I was asked to take over the day to day side of things and be the public manager of the business. Having been asked to do so IC, I am applying here to take over officially to keep existing roleplay storylines from being affected due to change of leadership. It seems to me that continuity would serve both the sim, and the current roleplayers involved with the casino. My agenda is to play off the ground work that has been laid, by current roleplayers, and to open up the casino for more sim wide interaction and growth.

UNIQUE: The casino has the ability (and current status to some) to be both a business that thrives with the day to day lives of the citizens of the city, as well as the fundamental front for much more underworld-type activities. With a bit of interaction with the community, some IC events, and teamwork, we can open up the casino to a completely new RP enviroment. Yet keep the players who've invested time , energy, and effort in their storylines.

EXP:I am a very good listener, impartial when needed and willing to hear out ideas and potential leads for both storylines and roleplay alike. I've spent the past few months roleplaying nearly-daily at the Casino, dedicating a significant amount of my RP time to helping build storylines. I know it's staff well, and the storylines that are based out of it up until now. Communication is key in any venture, and i'm willing to do what it takes to keep the communication line open to all.

IDEAS:I believe I can help add the stability that some claimed is lacking. I had been asked previously to help steer roleplay at the Hedonist IC, and as an official leader IC/OOC, I would have the ability to do so freely and helpfully. With both IC /OOC events, some fluid roleplay, and some sim-wide interactions such as masquerade parties, charity events, possibly even fund-raisers, or even open up the casino to private parties...such as bachlor/bachlorette parties, busniess meetings, etc. This would bring about roleplay for all players on the sim, both old and new, helping give life to things in a way that everyone involved had intended to do all along as well as open doors for those just finding their way into 'lives' in Dead End.

OTHER:I think with keeping both the current storylines open and alive, that people have worked so hard to develop and flesh out, along with the ability to bring in new and fresh ones as well, tie them all together under a cohesive set of 'daily leadership', it will give both the sim and the current and future players/members of the Hedonist group what they are looking for. Which is, a place to enjoy, hang out, meet and develop storylines that have the ability to not only live within the walls of the casino, but branch out sim-wide to encompass all that the Sim has to offer, from both players and storylines alike.
