This is just basically a notice to anyone that reads the forums - the PD has had a few people recently that have been breaking out of the asylum and/or jail. I'm not going to post their names, but I have a feeling most of DE knows who they are.

I'm letting everyone know that I have issued a statement to the PD letting them know that they are not obligated to RP with these people. They have been causing crap literally daily and it isn't the good kind of trouble. This is not the IC police department being negligent or corrupt, this is all of us OOCly being sick of dealing with the persons in question.

I'd also like to use this as a chance to let people know that while the police are there to serve and protect, this is RP and if we aren't enjoying it we have a right to decide not to engage. I don't doubt that everyone will understand this, but I wanted to make it clear. Criminals are a great, thriving element in DE and I in no way wish to discourage them. But if one person is exacting the same, exact RP every day where they take the same steps and the same behavior and the entire PD is sick of it... we just won't play with you.
