A few days ago .. a male patient known as Mr Canis was brought into the ER with what appeared to be a viral infection and was treated with typical medicines ...
these did not work ...
Mr Canis had complaints of nausea, vomiting, high temperature, unexplainable bleeding and severe headaches, all know tests were run to identify the cause of the symptoms but so far .. all test results have come back as negative for everything.
The patient has been placed in Quarantine as a precautionary measure until a cause of the problem has been identified, though Mr Canis' condition is not thought to be contagious to others, a warning has been released from a hospital spokesperson regarding the admission.
"The Hospital has been placed on high alert given the nature of the condition and is issuing a public safety notice to the citizens of Dead End, Not to panic with regards to this latest case of illness .. The Hospital is putting into place safe practice and visitors or sick people should not be discouraged from attending hospital appointments or admissions"
Chief of Medicine Dr Warwick Simondsen issued a further statement to the case stating that "The Hospital is currently treating a patient with unknown causes of symptoms typically associated with viruses or infections, we are working around the clock to try and diagnose the illness but the hospital is remaining fully open to the public and will treat all ailments and illnesses as per usual ".
