Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this -

I'm wondering what kind of investagative procedure is used in DEPD. I know normal police protocol and CSU protocol (chain of evidence, etc.) but I don't see much of anywhere that provides for that sort of thing. I'm curious to know what types of systems are used to facilitate that kind of thing (questionings etc.) and where an officer would document that. Also, what types of evidence are necessary?

OOC knowlege only, but Flak's investigating an alleged rape/kidnap/battery by a DEPD officer and she hasn't been able to locate any records on the event at all, even at the DEMH (no one seems to record visits/ER or anything). While I absolutely understand that this case is doubtlessly being swept under the rug, I've heard of several other rape/batteries that have happened and there are no records anywhere, even with the DEMH staff.

I get that this sim isn't really a detective work sim as much as it is a rape/kidnap sim so I'm not complaining at all, I'm just wondering where/how one would find this information or document it for future reference. Also, I was wondering what 10- codes DEPD uses so that I don't bung that up if I put a call out over the radio. 🙂
