Summary of Events:
Suspect [latter identified by Fingerprint analysis & CCTV footage review as Alenah Walsh] was observed acting suspiciously around the dock road area, likely acting as a lookout for the unsubs undertaking the theft.
Later inspection of the Dock area revealed one container (Container No. 137652) had been broken into. Inspection of the container revealed a series of stacked boxes containing an Asian doll with Japanese letters on the boxesr. One box appeared to have been removed, although its contents could not be identified.
During the inspection of the dock area, a Van was heard rapidly leaving the area up the Dock road. No licence plate was able to be observed.
Inspection of the guard tower indicated no personnel on site. One letter was recovered which read "Felt indisposed and went home sick - Guard Phillips". Suggest interview of guard to check safety and/or involvement in Theft/Drug Importation.
CCTV footage from the dock area was recovered for analysis. If theft is reported, investigate further.
If theft is not reported, advise Customs of likely Drug Importation method.
