A bomb blast occurred at The Docks, resulting in some minor damage to a warehouse and a single, unidentified female casualty. Several body parts were seen floating in the harbour waters but were not identified.

Bomb, home made.

Evidence Recovered:
Bomb detonating device was returned to the Police Station.

Summary of Events:
At 4:50 PM Officer Jewell responded to a radio call following a reported bomb blast at the Docks. Upon arrival, Detective Hultcrantz was on scene and had identified a body [several body parts] floating in the water. Visual observation of the body parts from the shore indicated the victim was female, but the body was to disfigures to allow further identification.

Observation of the warehouse building beside the blast site indicated some bomb damage.
