cat-loxelysaidHello all, My name is Cat. I'll be wandering around down in DE soon so I figured I should introduce myself a bit. My character is an art student currently between undergrad and grad school who has been told that her art work is too light and warm and fuzzy. Too idealistic and not edgy enough. Her advisor suggested that she spend some time in a urban environment to absorb some of the natural "edge" found in those environments. He told her to, 'go live and paint in a city for a while.' She has picked DE by pure chance from a number of other possible locations. Mostly because the area is so depressed and way cheaper than NYC or Boston. I don't have any grand plans for my character story arch. I'm just taking the approach of setting it up and seeing where it goes. It fits nicely with my own reasons for playing SL and exploring a darker sim like this in the first place - and that is - exploring some of my own rather dark fantasies. A bit of a warning, I have some RP experience but not a ton. I know the major do's and don't's. My major flaw is that sometimes I get a bit nervous and it can take me a little time to respond. That and I'm not the most colorful in my prose. My RP experience hasn't been very paragraph heavy either. More short form. Not one liners but not 20+ lines per post either. I will try my best to adapt to the sims play style and I ask for a little patience with me as I learn and improve. Thank you, Cat |
