Due to extra resources that vehicles take on our sims (prims, physics, and script time), we have setup a limited number of "vehicle permits" for rent. Please consider the following:
Benefits
- May drive on any sim
- May leave parked out in Dead End and Dead Fall RP area while not in use.
Vehicle Use Requirements
- Ground vehicles like motorcycles, cars, and trucks only (ie. no helicopters, planes, etc.)
- Must fit into the background / urban environment. In a gritty city like Dead End City, exotic imports would likely be stolen or banged up if left parked on the street so don’t bother!
- 38 prims max (no temp-on-rez details allowed when parked)
- Settings on vehicle must be set to owner only (don’t allow guests or non-owners to tinker w/ the settings)
- Disable alarms
- Audible sirens or music playing not allowed
- Permit is restricted to 1 avatar (whoever’s name is on the rent terminal)
Where to Purchase & Setup
STEP 1:
To purchase the official squad or SUV vehicle, visit the Municipal Garage located in Dead End City and adjacent to the the Police department. Inside the Municipal Shop, you will find the vendors.
STEP 2:
At minimum, you need the SQUAD version. Just pay the option and the vehicle will be delivered by ProStreet servers immediately.
STEP 3:
With your "Dead End City" group activated, rez the vehicle and click on the hood to see the tablet with your customization options… use the following details to set up your vehicle to Dead End spec…
Interior/Exterior Colors

- Interior Color … Red or Black
Lightbar/Sirens/ACC
- Runners > Hide
- Lighbar Type > DEM*

Pricing
Please visit the rental area located inside the DMV in Dead End and click on an available rental box on the wall for price.
A minimum of 2 weeks is due up front initially. Current rate is L$600 per week (L$1200 up front). All purchases are non-refundable and go towards the sim tier. You may, however, ‘sell’ your permit to another if you have time left on the rental.
