BACKGROUND: From my first day in Dead End, over 6 years ago, I have been in the hospital. I was usually the only one there. With my good friend Syreni by my side we built a great team. I was the assistant chief of staff under both Cord and Ming from 2011-2012. Sy says I taught her, so I feel I can teach others and inspire others to do good. I want to make patients and residents feel welcome and confident about choosing to come to DEMH for their medical needs. Perhaps even set up workshops and educational seminars. Free cancer screening and STD testing. I would love to organize more fundraisers for the american heart association, and to updgrade the equipment at DEMH too machines from this century? That would be nice. I love Dead end, I met my husband here. 7 years later Dion and I are still together. Our kids were born and raised here. I have been waiting for an opportunity like this for 6 years. I think I can do good things for the hospital, it is the one place in Dead End that feels like home. From the first day I set foot in the old building to this day DEMH is my home. I want to help make it even more amazing than it already is. I love this hospital, I think everyone from the past and present can attest to that.

UNIQUE: I want people to come to DEMH and know that they have a safe place to heal and recovery, whether it be an emergency, pregnancy, or routine checkup. I am here to make the residents look at DEMH as a quality choice in healthcare rather than a last resort. DEMH number one in health: because WE care.

EXPERIENCE:I am currently an ER trauma surgeon with a specialty in internal medicine at DEMH. I have been with the hospital for 6 years. I was assisstant chief of staff when Cordite was chief and when Ming was chief after he resigned for personal reasons. I am passionate, knowledge and caring, I feel I possess all necessary characteristics bestowing of an upstanding doctor.

IDEAS:I would work with Sy and Leigh in welcoming new staff members and patients. Creating orientations for interns as well as informational classes for patient.

OTHER:I would organize a fundraiser in the form of a grand event, such as a casino might. The proceeds would benefit the fire department and the police station since they do so much good for the city. So I would work with the other board members do create workshops and educational classes such as ways to manage your diabetes or nutritional and medication during your pregnancy.
