So I was thinking the other day about all the many wonderful things we do in our RP and the things we right about. For example, when engaging in medical RP I have practically zero knowledge beyond basic first aid. Or indeed, when watching the FD at work, backdrafts? Containment? I am a fire marshal for work in RL but again my knowledge is limited to what to do in case of emergency, not how to put it out. But I love to know more and while google can be a good friend, I thought it might be nice if we share our resources or knowledge base in something. What do you know about?

I have a tireless knowledge of sound and music. Decibel levels. Ohms Law, frequency etc... But that's probably little use as I think most people know things and it doesnt come up that often. One thing which does come up a fair bit in RP though, is drugs and often I find that we lack a bit of factual knowledge of how certain things work.

Eve isn't shy of experimentation. But how to know how what she has taken will effect her? Some things I will admit to knowing about via various means. The rest though, I often refer to this site http://www.talktofrank.com/ It is a good knowledge base (government sponsored more or less) It's reason for existance is to give factual and balanced information in bite sized and easy to read formats on most commonly used and abused street drugs. Highs, lows, possible side effects and so on. There is also the site erowid, which is a compination of user experience reports including cross-usage. How certain combinations have effected people.
