As someone fairly new to playing an EMT, I was wondering if you feel the need for your EMT to have a vast medical vocabulary and spend several posts regurgitating medical information? While I admire those who are able to spill out medical terminology, is it sufficient to post something such as "Takes the patients vitals and determines all to be well", or "takes patients vitals and determines their pulse is low"? Or do you really find it a need that EMT's name the exact piece of equipment they're using and exactly what the readings are?

I guess I'm asking this for two reasons...first, it can be intimidating to try to learn all the medical terminology...secondly, I feel there can be realism without the exact wording...and third, I think by the time the scene has played out (and often times cops are called and then all that goes on)...by the time the EMT has their shot, people in the scene are often tired and just want a quick patch up and transport. While I think it's important for people who enjoy showing what they've learned and like to RP out their EMT knowledge to be allowed to do so, for those of us who are ok doing a quick check/patch and transport, is that ok?
