BACKGROUND: I am currently acting Casino Manager, originally appointed by Anjel, but fired as part of the RP, then asked by Anjel's attorney, Ren (Grennith Greggan) to step in after Anjel's disappearance. Anjel & I had discussed (IC & OOC) my character's return to his employ prior to his disappearance, but he had disappeared before anything could be set in stone ICly. Leslie showed up at the casino one evening after Anjel's disappearance and contacted Ren, asking who was in charge. Ren, using her Power of attorney, appointed Leslie as manager and she has been running the casino since May 22. ((OOC: Anjel never removed me from the group or took the Manager title away from me. Since stepping back in, I have hired two new dancers and dealt with a storyline involving an attempted kidnapping, by a casino dealer, of one of the new dancers.)) While on staff at Lulu's Bar & Grill, it has always been an understanding between Leslie & Steph that Leslie would return to the casino when Anjel offered her a position there again. Leslie called Ren, Anjel's attorney, inquiring about his whereabouts and asking who was in charge at the casino. Ren suggested that Leslie step back in as casino manager. Leslie has been attempting to run the casino as Anjel would, were he present, and making educated guesses as to his desires concerning the various aspects of the casino's operation. She has attempted to maintain the Tuesday event Leather, lace, and Lingerie, with limited success. (Two dancers showed up and the 3 of us RP'd about the emptiness of the casino and generally bonded.) I want to resurrect the casino's reputation as THE destination in DE. To this end, I has maintained the Leather, lace, and Lingerie event on Tuesday nights and plans to add weekend events on a rotating theme schedule. Currently under consideration are Fetishist Night, James Bond Night, and Rat Pack Night. I have also done impromptu mini-events that offer drink and chip special. I also hold 11 2/3% interest in a fledgling magazine company that is currently floundering due to a lack of direction. I hope to incorporate this business into the casino, publishing a magazine that would feature the Hedonist Casino employees. The magazine (as yet unnamed) would be a sideline to the casino, much like the original Hustler magazine started as a sideline to Larry Flynt's Hustler Club. My character is on friendly terms with most of the regularly appearing casino employees (ICly) , having hired the two most recent dancers personally. It is my hope to help the employees, new and veteran, to initiate their own personal storylines. I also plan to make regular group notices and hold ICD 'shift meetings' as well as canvass event and storyline ideas from the other employees. with the exception of a 3-4 week break in early May, Leslie has been running the casino since the disappearance of her predecessor, Issalia, having originally been hired by Anjel as a barback and proving herself competent and reliable. The break occurred as part of the RP where Leslie fell in with Simone Yheng and ended up being sent to the Asylum, where she was subjected to torture and brainewashing. Anjel found her, took her back to the casino, and deprogrammed her.

UNIQUE: At the suggestion of Sakuya Mai, one of Anjel's girlfriends, we have looked into creating a mascot for the casino, something along the lines of the famous Playboy Bunnies. With the magazine storyline I had planned dying out (for OOC reasons) I plan to incorporate a small magazine into the casino operations (still working on the details of distribution and actually creating a prototype). Recently, I used my authority as casino manager to make a $50,000 donation to Princess Yheng & Andie Water's Flame of Truth charity. (NC to Princess was sent 5/31/2014). events will be expanded as staffing levels permit and I will strive to maintain a continuous presence of casino staff, recruiting from all time zones.

EXPERIENCE:I have been active in the RP since early February 2014, almost immediately becoming involved with the casino when Anjel & Sallie adopted the mostly starved, filthy homeless girl named Leslie Byrne. While not always initiating story arcs, I did my best to support whatever RP was going on at the casino. I have been an avid RPer, first with table top, then in various RPs inSL. I've interacted with most of the regularly playing staff members since coming to DE.

IDEAS:If they apply to work while I am online, I will continue to involve them in the RP from the get go. I make it a point to try to bring in players new to DE when I encounter them, be it in the street or at the casino. I will also continue to regularly check the employee roster and contact any new hires OOCly.

OTHER:RAT PACK NIGHT Pipe in the old standards, drop the drink prices to what they were half a century ago, and offer double chips ($100 cash = $200 in chips). Yes, the casino will probably lose money, but it will bring the casino back in the limelight. Prior to re-opening, I will add a (OOC) kitchen featuring a limited menu that will expand with time.
