As a member of the community, a role player, and a deviant in sim, I would like to bring up an important issue. Taser guns. Now, I know that the cops need an edge to be some what enforcing upon the citizens of dead end, but when everyone and their mother carries one, it just gets discouraging to attempt any kind of deviant interaction. For the following reasons, I will list my views on why I believe they should be disbanded from use from at least off duty cops:

Most taser guns need to be registered with a background check before they will even be activated for use.

Most taser guns need to be registered with a background check before they will even be activated for use. even if getting one illegally, it would be hard to keep if confiscated or destroyed to anyone who doesn't pass a background check.

If guns aren't allowed in the city, a taser is still an unfair advantage to any given situation and looks bad in the community of RP if dodged in character just due to the speed of the projection of the barbs in the loaded gun. some who RP using such will even use this example as an excuse to bully the other player by suggestion into accepting the shot. In this manner, it causes conflicts and fights out of character more than concealed weapons alone. It seems more and more are obtaining taser guns magically to become untouchable and invincible.

Long ranged one hit K.O. weapons aren't fun to interact with in a sim for good guys or bad. being faced with a one hit K.O. takes away from RP just like a bomb or a nuke would. the odds of someone ending the RP with just one shot of a gun taser is high, making it uncomfortable to RP with anyone wielding such due to the fact that interaction would not last long at all.

Thank you for those who take the time to read this.
