Dead end is my home , and you wonderful insane sick people are my family. I as well as anyone know how real life can take you away from roleplay, as it should. But it seems to me there is a deeper problem in DE. For all intents and purposes when new players come to visit , there are 2 people on sim sitting afk
- etc .. So they leave , go to CD , or any other sim that has signs of
- life . I am not pointing fingers , as I am guilty of the same thing ! I asked myself what kills roleplay? or kills a roleplay sim ? For instance , I believe there is a trickle down effect.. Businesses without Management. No manager of a business , few to no employess, no events .. no crimes against business , no police calls , less police & Fire personnel , no players for DEPD or DEFD or DEMH when people do commit crimes or are injured. No one arrested ? no need for lawyers. Though NPC's are getting a work out! All this leads to vacant rentals , for housing and auto permits . Also an issue I am especially sensitive too , there is almost no penis in DE, Anytime a man shows on sim he is flocked to , cause its like a unicorn sighting , (except the horn is his penis .)
I am sure a lot of you are seeing and feeling the same issues, I want DE fixed! I have been to other sims , there is no other sim like DE. I suggest that DE throw a huge Founders Day celebration , with a week of events , T-shirts showing dead end pride, have dead end tours ... that may end badly for some ... IC deals made to get the 'right sort' of people become business managers . Just a few ideas , I needed to vent to get off my chest.. And I hope to be part of the recovery/ solution to zap DE back to life .
