I think this is great. Putting greater emphasis on long term investigations of crimes rather than just ticketing will generate a lot more interactions and stories for everyone.

Also what you can do is RP out the parts that do somehow include the city. Like, say you made some arrangement to bring in a bunch of cheap knock off purses or something. Obviously you can’t RP going to some other country to arrange it, but you can RP the ship arriving at the docks and you and your crew having to unload the ship without the PD…[Read more]

I think this sounds like an intriguing idea. It would need someone to create a new NC to send out every few days though, which isn’t the end of the world. I do agree that the Daily’s page needs more publicity though, as I’ve come across a few people who thought the daily was just a group and didn’t know an actual news site existed for it.
