The DEPD is NOT being disbarred, I screwed up when I said that in my notice, so I am redoing it here where there is more room..

The DEPD is being INVESTIGATED for 30 years of corruption and diversion of funds, along with the recent events with prohibition.. The Justice Dep. has started an investigation into the actions of officers, both past and present, this means the Dead End County Sheriff's Dept has to take the ball and run with it for a while. (( OOCLy I will still run the join, but ICly Shade will be pissed and bitter at the Sheriff))
Things to know..

1. Rank will be the same.. If you are a SGT LT DETECTIVE or anything, you will remain that..
2. Deputies will be treated like Corp or officers.. Depending.. These will be alts of leads and staff.. I wont have random new players taking up these roles...
3. The Sheriff and the removal of Shade are the two biggest changes. Shade will go underground for this, and might not always be most law abiding of citizens after this.. As for your characters.. How you handle it is up to you/them! I don't want to force your hand for this, so if you want to walk.. Walk.. If you want to stay.. Stay.. Shade might try to get info from you, but that is the bottom line.
4. This is all a part of a long running story arc that will end.. How it ends will be seen through Rp, but if all else fails there will be an End Game..
5. There will be two FBI agents who are going to be "Investigating" Please.. they are not there to ruin your Rp, they are there to help keep the plot moving.. Nothing major.. ATF might also be involved at some point.. They will mostly be there to run raids.. Love them like they were your friends, because most of the time they will be played by friends.
