Upcoming Move!

Over the next couple days, I’ll be making in-world announcements about the upcoming move onto our new estate, "Dead End". The city is being rebuilt from the ground up; much of the layout and architecture remaining familiar to the eye, but completely custom touched w/ textures, building accents, and so much more. We also have a lot of new and exciting surprises built into the ambience and layout of this urban jungle.

For those who haven’t been following the discussions on the forums that started two months ago, please read the following FAQ:

Why are we moving?

There are several reasons we’ve decided to move; when BeBe and I acquired DE, much of the core build was inaccessible to us, including the furniture system in rentals – it still is. Why replace pieces of the city when you can start fresh? Our current sim is also owned by Dreamland, an estate service that has been very unaccommodating. We are also in a position currently where we can’t expand should we want to. So, these reasons being the primary, it only made sense to move the city onto our own private estate.

What about current tenants?

Folks in DE who rent space have been broken down into three categories: residents, shopkeepers, and mall vendors. The following information applies:

Residents – Current tenants can move into one of the new apartment, studio, or penthouse layouts. All units will be pre-furnished through our virtual furniture system along with more prims for customization than before. Prices will not increase; in fact, it will probably lower.

Shopkeepers – Those residents, who currently rent space at street level or in the heart of the city, will be accommodated. All spaces will be required to work w/ either Kait or I in making sure their spaces are designed and setup to keep the RP environment immersive and fit into the theme of the city.

Mall Vendors – Not much has changed here besides the new vendor policies we’ve implemented to combat lag.

More info to come!

I'll post updates on the site; more on the forums, as well. For now, I'll leave you with the latest teaser shots of the work done so far:
