I made it to Dead End a few hours ago, but Tasha wasn't there to meet me. She was often so punctual, but something didn't seem right. I tried to call her, yet there was no answer. I called 25 times, and still no answer. I called 911 but the dispatchers were not helpful. I made a missing persons report, but that's about all I can do. I've decided to stay. I've even applied to become an officer. I'll miss New York, but it's time for a change.
